Mobile Fee

  • We have a non-refundable mobile fee of £10 which is an automatic fee applied on top of the groom price to cover us travelling out to you along with the luxury of not leaving your home.

Matting

Whilst I love making dogs look fabulous, I work humanely and not aesthetically when it comes to matted dogs. Dogs that come in matted will need to be shaved off as de-matting is discomforting and stressful for dogs. Severe matting can cause conditions such as hot spots, infections and many more. There is a risk of clipper burn and cuts to occur when being shaved, we will always try and make sure this doesn’t happen but sometimes it is unavoidable. With correct brushing and combing techniques at home (can be shown to you) along with the correct grooming schedule for your dogs haircut and lifestyle, this can help to improve coat management. There will be an additional charge on top of your groom depending on the severity of the matting due to our extra time and our equipment maintenance & you will be notified of the cost.

Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit is required with every booking to secure your appointment (you will be notified of the price when booking)
  • The deposit price will be taken off of the completed services total.

No Shows

  • You will be notified on any upcoming appointments, we do require 48 hour notice of any changes. Whilst we understand things can happen in life we do need time to fill the slot for those that are waiting. If you cannot attend please make us aware (text/call/voicemail)
  • If less than 48 hours notice is provided 50% of the groom price will need to be paid before booking back (along with another deposit)
  • Those that no show/no notice provided/missed appointments/we are unable to park correctly outside your property (this will be classed as a missed appointment) 100% of the groom will need to be paid before booking back in (along with another deposit).

Fleas

We understand fleas can occur, please regularly check your dogs and keep up to date with monthly vet treatments. If we find a few fleas there will be an additional charge (you will be notified of this) however, if we find there is an infestation on arrival/during the groom then we hold the right to cancel the groom 100% of the groom cost to cover the appointment time and cleaning needed. If you are notified that there is an infestation we advise to make sure you are treating the home/car as well as the dog’s as only a small % of fleas live on the dog, it is more in the surroundings. If it is not treated you will have continuous fleas. If booking back in we will check before the groom and can refuse service until under control.

Summer Policy

  • Please make sure you are limiting walking in the heat before/after their groom & try to go in cooler periods. 
  • Please be aware I may move your appointment time earlier as its much cooler/re schedule the appointment if it’s too dangerous to groom for me & your dog
  • I’m doing all I can to help reduce the temperature in the van by:
    • Having a skylight 
    • Having fresh water always available
    • Having the side & back doors open (with secured gates)
    • Air conditioning
    • Washing in cooler water
    • Drying without heat/towel drying
    • Damp towel on the floor
    • Breaks if needed
