We specialise in small-medium breeds, but large breeds can be considered. Please message us if you want to book your larger breed in.

Grooming is based on each individual dog and there are many factors which contribute to the time it takes: your dogs coat type (for bathing and drying) removing matting, specific styling, behaviour of your dog, any health conditions or age of your dog (may need to go slower for their comfort) and cleaning and sanitising after the groom. We always cater for your dogs needs safely and effectively which adds of to the time for them to leave as happy as can be!

This all depends on a number of factors - your dogs breed, their age, coat type, your dog’s confidence and your lifestyle. The common time between booking in again is 6 weeks this is for curly/fluffy coated dogs to help reduce matting taking place. Short haired breeds typically every 8-12 weeks, please feel free to message to discuss when’s best for your dog.

We always recommend to re book after each grooming session to avoid disappointment/missed sessions as we are 1:1 it does get busy!

We always require a £20 non- refundable deposit per grooming session in order to secure appointments and this is deducted at the end of each grooming session.

> Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the grooming price, which must be paid before rescheduling. For no-shows, the full grooming price will be charged prior to rebooking.

Matting is when your dogs coat becomes tightly tangled turning into knots or clumps close to the skin and can occur when there is friction to your dogs coat and there is limited or not correct brushing techniques (slicker brush and comb) in-between grooming sessions. To help with coat management please feel free to contact to make sure you are on the correct grooming schedule for your dogs breed/lifestyle and I’d be happy to show you correct brushing techniques to make grooming easier for you at home.

Matting charges are applied as matting takes extra time and care on removal as it can be very close to their skin and will need to be clipped off as this is the only way to remove safely without too much discomfort for your dog. We always clip the matting off the before the bath which in time blunts our blades quicker.

Yes there are a couple of things you can do as an owner to help keep this a positive experience for your dog

*Regular brushing correctly with a slicker brush and checking over with a comb for any tangles left over (if you need any help please feel free to message)

*We offer ‘Mini Grooms’ if you would prefer us to help with coat management

*Booking in regularly can help with a number of factors: to reduce matting, building the trust up for your dog, and keeping your dog looking from ‘tatty’ to ‘tidy’

*Regular touching of your dogs face, ears, body, tail and especially their paws or any other sensitive areas to build their confidence up and keep it a positive experience for handling
